Windmill Hills Preserve

Along the east edge of the same escarpment that Boulder Park, and Cedar Hill State Park are located on, lies a small park in the City of DeSoto. This trail doesn't get as much traffic as the others in this area, but that doesn't reflect on the quality of ride. This trail is not a complete loop, and that might have as much to do with the light traffic as anything. The map on this site shows a loop that I generally use, but riders can choose their own path through the various routes in this park. This trail does offer some technical rock shelves, and a small section of dirt mounds where BMX bikers ride. This is a fun quick trail, and the mileage could be piled up with multiple laps.
