Rowlett
Creek Preserve
GIS Trail Map
Being located in the northeast corner of Dallas County, about 5 miles northeast of I-635, Rowlett Creek Preserve is one of the favorites of bikers in the metroplex. There are riders, hikers, runners, etc., just about every day enjoying the diversity of this park. Bikers will enjoy the approximate 12 miles of singletrack that travel up and down the banks of Rowlett Creek. This trail contains very exciting obstacles where visitors can appreciate the fun of dropping in on half-pipe style dips, stacked log crossings, and drops that will make you want to go back for seconds. There are vast flat sections that travel through open fields, which add to the mileage, and at least one creek crossing which may or may not have a spanned bridge. RCP is a fun and friendly park, where you can ride and socialize on any given weekend.
