Scyene Overlook

The Scyene Overlook trail is one of the main focuses of Groundwork Dallas. Otherwise known as the Gateway Trail, this area has a large diversity of terrain, and has the possibility of many connections to various locations throughout the Great Trinity Forest. The Scyene Overlook is approximately half a mile from the parking lot which would make about a one mile hike, out and back. Once you arrive at the overlook, you will be treated to a great view of the vast Great Trinity Forest and Grover Keeton Golf Course. A similar overlook will possibly mirror the existing trail, and even further to the south a connection to the Bruton Overlook provides a dramatic look at the forest with the Dallas Skyline in the background.
